used bikes for sale

Huret is a French establishment founded by an ex-pro-racer, André Huret, in Paris, in 1920. Initially, Huret produced wing nuts for bicycle wheels. Later they started the production of derailleurs which became a huge hit. The famous French racer, Louison Bobet, won the Tour de France thrice using Huret derailleurs. In 1958, Huret launched the Allvit derailleur, the first parallelogram derailleur. At that time, every boom bike, like the Schwinn, came with an Allvit derailleur set. It was in the 1980s when Huret became Sachs-Huret after the German firm Fichtel & Sachs acquired it. Eventually, Sachs-Huret was purchased by SRAM, which makes bicycle components such as Shifters, Rear and front Derailleurs, Power Meters, Chainrings, Cranksets, etc. Wikipedia
