Founded in 1978, Haro Bikes Corporation is a BMX and Mountain bike manufacturer. Bob Haro designed number plates for BMX bikes in his home. During the 1980s, Haro launched its first BMX Freestyle bikes range, its own line of racing bikes, an FST range for lower-budget customers, and much more. The Haro Sport and the Haro Master were two legendary bikes designed by the company. Later, Haro designs developed three evolved versions of these bikes within a year. Haro bikes dominated the markets for years and had several leading riders earn accolades riding them. The company was sold in 1988 to another big company and then again in 1993 to Jim Ford.
