3T is a popular Italian cycle sports company (previously known as 3ttt / Techno Tubo Torino) that has become one of the most prominent brands in the cycling industry. Founded in 1961 by Mario Dedioniggi in Torino, the company began using carbon-fiber composite materials in its products in the 1990s. It gained recognition after introducing lightweight cycles into racing and its specially designed 3T Bullhorn handlebars were used by Italian cyclist Francesco Moser to set a world record. After being absent from competitive racing for several years, 3T sponsored the CSC team in 2008 and has also sponsored Cervelo TestTeam, Garmin Slipstream, and Milram. In addition to sponsoring teams, 3T Cycling also manufactures a range of products including dropbars, stems, wheels, cranks, cassettes, accessories, spare parts, and clothing, all of which are 100% built in the factory.
