Raleigh
used bikes for sale
Raleigh was discovered in 1887 by Sir Frank Bowden, all because of his love for cycling. During the 1920s, when having a car was all the rage, Raleigh still maintained its reputation and produced around 100,000 cycles annually. Even amidst the World War II scenarios, Raleigh made around 5400 bicycles per week. During the 90s, Raleigh became the first UK cycle maker to produce suspension mountain bikes. By 2012, Raleigh was sold out to Netherlands-based bicycle company Accell Group, one of the biggest bicycle companies in Europe.
